Iva Dixit

An expert in the unique intersection of media, readership and social consumption, Iva Dixit specializes in how to build and retain digital audiences, and has done so for three of America's most well-known names in legacy journalism. She is currently the Audience Editor for The New York Times Magazine, where she runs social and audience strategy, devising social rollouts for their weekly cover stories, overseeing the distribution of the Magazine's signature pieces of investigative journalism, and conceptualizing social campaigns for ambitious digital projects like the Magazine's audio-only Voyages Issue, which won the Digital Innovation Award from the American Society of Magazine Editors. Previously, she was a member of the social team at The New Yorker, where she worked on major social media campaigns for a range of blockbuster stories like the Harvey Weinstein exposé, and was nominated for ASME Social Media Award. At the New Yorker, she also launched and ran the New Yorker Cartoons account on Instagram and was nominated for a Shorty Award.
